Charles Yassky, the founding principal, and his brother Marc, have been in the real estate world since they were children. They would often accompany their father Harold, a single-family home builder and hotel and shopping center owner, along to residential subdivision and hotel construction sites where he would teach the boys about real estate. After college, Charlie ventured out on his own and began a career in the New York City residential world, while Marc joined the family shopping center business, Shopco Properties. After Shopco sold off its portfolio in 2006, Marc joined Charlie at Yassky Properties. Together they have grown the portfolio, in addition to founding Millbrook Realty Capital, LLC, their lending company affiliate.

MANAGING PRINCIPAL Charlie has been an owner, developer and manager of multi-family buildings and retail condominiums in the New York Metro area, as well as suburban shopping centers, since 1981. Amongst a myriad of developments, Mr. Yassky was managing partner of 44 Laight Street in Tribeca where he presided over the development and sale of over $75,000,000 of luxury condominiums. In addition to his New York City multi-family portfolio, Mr. Yassky has interests in shopping centers around the country ranging from a 50,000 SF strip center to a 1,300,000 SF enclosed mall. In 2009, he and his brother Marc formed Millbrook Realty Capital where Charlie takes the lead in structuring all of its transactions. Educated at New York University, Charlie is involved in over 25 charitable organizations and is a director of the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation at New York's Weill Cornell Medical Center.

MANAGING PRINCIPAL Marc has been engaged in real estate since 1977 when he joined Shopco, a nationwide developer of enclosed malls. He ultimately became President of the company, which until 2005, developed or acquired over 14MM SF of shopping centers. After divesting itself of the portfolio, Marc joined his brother Charlie at Yassky Properties, and has been involved in its activities since that time. Marc oversees the due diligence, closing, and administration of each of Millbrook Realty Capital's transactions.  Marc attended Brandeis University and New York University, and has served on the boards of or committees at Temple Sholom, Greenwich, CT, American Friends of the Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, Israel, and Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Manhattan).
